In 2006 at the age of 39 Angelo was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma. Since then we have been on a long and winding road including a stem cell transplant, a donor cell transplant and months in and out of hospital. During this time Angelo wanted to give something back and so was born Angelo’s Angels. Over the past 7 years along with amazing friends we have raised in excess of £127,000 for the Yorkshire Myeloma Research Centre at St James Hospital headed up by Dr Gordon Cook. In April 2012 Angelo went into hospital in a wheelchair to undergo a double hip replacement and this years Angelo’s Angels Ball on 5th October will see him taking to the dance groove on down! And so begins the fundraising for 2013 …please give what you can every little really does help.
